Datakind works with data worldwide for the public good \u2013 and\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s3\">Prest leads its UK community of volunteers, building understanding about what data science can do in the charitable sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Yoti\u00a0\u2013 making digital identity\u00a0safe and ethical<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/518123100&amp;color=ff5500\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Yoti is an identity checking system that allows organisations to verify who people are, online and in person.\u00a0Julie Dawson, director of regulatory and policy, steers the startup\u2019s ethics framework and prepares Yoti for external accreditations such as BCorporation. The platform is available to employees across clients including Made.com and John Lewis Partnership. Here, Taylor discusses the challenges of mental health and digital \u2013 and explains how Unmind helps.<\/p>\n<h4>Change.org \u2013 engaging through digital<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/518123835&amp;color=ff5500\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Change.org allows individuals and groups to start petitions and other social change movements. Executive director Kajal Odedra explains the platform\u2019s use of digital to deliver an age-old form of democratic participation \u2013 the petition.
