We are set to debate the challenges that these issues present and look at the policy and technology solutions now emerging including the recent \u201cOnline Harms White Paper\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"btn-container\"><a class=\"btn btn-md btn-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/digitalagenda.io\/summit\/\">VISIT THE CONFERENCE WEBPAGE<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In a world of digital technology, with tech companies worth trillions and social platforms used by billions, technology has the power to make or break society and governments, \u2013 and the promises of AI makes many uneasy about the future and what it means to be human.<\/p>\n<p>With that being said, it is not all doom and gloom. Digital technologies also provide us with access to knowledge, it can help save lives, improve public services, bring us together and help save the planet. So, how do we both stay optimistic about the power of technology, while using it responsibly? That is what Power &amp; Responsibility is all about.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s speakers include:\u00a0<strong>Caroline Criado Perez OBE<\/strong>, Author of Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men,\u00a0<strong>Sana Khareghani<\/strong>, Head of UK Government Office for AI,\u00a0<strong>Paul van Zyl<\/strong>, Co-founder and CCO, The Conduit,\u00a0<strong>Catherine Mayer<\/strong>, Executive Director, Datum Future and many more. You can see the full speaker line up\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/digitalagenda.io\/summit\/#speakers\">here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Summit is split into three themes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BUSINESS \u2013 Power, responsibility and the economy<\/li>\n<li>SOCIETY \u2013 Responsible Innovation for good and regulation<\/li>\n<li>PEOPLE \u2013 Technology, online behaviour and safety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The themes will discuss: How technology is changing our economy fast, how can tech business, and government, do more for the common good, how to ensure a fairer internet and the digital\u2019s effects on online behaviour, mental health and concerns over privacy and online safety.<\/p>\n<p>We are excited to bring people together and to discuss how we can plan ways forward.
